Huawei Gets Its Smartwatch Covered by Health Insurance

After Huawei, a Chinese technology company, certified its Watch D2 wearable as a medical device in China due to its continuous blood pressure monitoring feature, consumers can purchase it using health insurance instead of paying out of pocket. The smartwatch quickly sold out as a result.
