Hilton, a U.S.-based multinational hospitality company, ranked among the top three on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For® for eight consecutive years.
Hilton uses multiple sources of data to determine the benefits employees value most:
Annual employee surveys: Hilton surveys employees worldwide using both closed- and open-ended questions to identify known and emerging needs.
Program utilization and feedback: The company tracks employee feedback and benefit usage after introducing or changing programs. Low-utilization benefits may be discontinued.
Focus groups: Small-group discussions provide deeper insights into employees’ preferences.
Employee committees: Employee representatives communicate their expectations and preferences directly to senior management.
Recruiter feedback: HR meets with recruiters to learn what benefits job candidates seek but Hilton does not currently offer.
Industry benchmarking: Hilton continuously compares its benefits package with those offered by other hospitality companies.
